The technology utilizes light as the service medium for authorization, identification, and information transmission, and requires no changes to the SIM card, SD card or existing hardware of the phone. Users can enjoy photonic payment by downloading a cell phone application and then using a beam of light. When users do not use photonic payment, there will not be a decrease in battery life or electromagnetic pollution of smart phones.
Moreover, a photonic payment account can be linked to hundreds of bank and membership cards. It provides users a brand new way to make payments.
